The PGA Center for Golf Learning and Performance’s new indoor S180 golf simulator is giving sports fans a special opportunity to experience the ultimate golf and entertainment experience – the ability to virtually play golf from their choice of 100 courses worldwide, while simultaneously watching their favorite sporting event on its 100- inch television projection screen.

Created by ForeGolf [now Full Swing Golf], the S180 Simulator’s state-of-the-art, high-definition screen emulates play on some of golf’s most renowned courses from across the globe. Meanwhile, the virtual 180-degree projection system simulates any kind of playing condition, while in the comfort of the PGA Center for Golf Learning and Performance’s indoor training facility.

“The PGA Center for Golf Learning and Performance takes tremendous pride in being on the leading edge of new technology and playing experiences for golf enthusiasts,” says Bob Baldassari, PGA senior director for Player Development and PGA general manager of the facility. “The opportunity to play the game of golf while simultaneously watching the big game on a dynamic 100-inch, 180-degree HD projection screen is a prime example of the one-of-a-kind, fun and unique experience that we offer to everyone.”

The interactive and revolutionary S180 Simulator is a technological solution with hand-built components that feature some of the most powerful processors and graphics cards available in golf simulation. The simulator also serves as an advanced teaching tool for PGA Professionals to offer to their clientele, in order for them to further enjoy the game.

“As one of the most technologically advanced facilities in the game, the PGA Center for Golf Learning and Performance is designed to deliver the finest golf instruction, fitness and practice experience for golfers from around the world, and our S180 Simulator will enable our clients to achieve their goals in learning and playing the game, while using one of the most exciting and fun new innovations in the game,” adds Baldassari.

The 35-acre PGA Center for Golf Learning and Performance has been ranked among the “Top 100 Golf Ranges in America” by Golf Range Magazine for 12 consecutive years and is part of PGA Village—which also features 54 holes of Championship golf by Tom Fazio and Pete Dye at PGA Golf Club; and the PGA Museum of Golf, the home of the game’s four major championship trophies.

The simulator can be rented out starting at $50 an hour, with catering and beverages available upon request. For more information, visit www.PGAVillage.com.
