Full Swing Golf loves being a part of the history that is written every year at the tournament, so this year the company was pleased to provide a one of a kind experience for visiting guests. Instead of the usual single golf simulator, packed with a long line of visitors awaiting the chance to compete in a closest-to-the-hole contest, Full Swing added an extra simulator to satisfy the crowds. To add to the excitement, Full Swing Golf custom-designed two holes for the event, creating a unique opportunity for participants to play on one hole at Whistling Straits and one hole at the 2011 PGA Championship site, the Atlantic Athletic Club. “Recreating the signature par 3 17th hole at Whistling Straits and a par 3 from next years tournament really allowed fans of golf to engage in the excitement that was happening around them,” added VP of Sales, Brian Brown. “The lines of guests throughout the 7 day event shows how relevant the Full Swing Golf simulator is as a unique guest experience.” Patrons enjoyed taking 3 swings for not only bragging rights to get closest to the hole, but there were great daily prizes. Winners received a PGA Championship golf bag and 25,000 Delta SkyMiles, good for a round trip ticket in the US! Over 5,000 people participated over the week of the tournament and over 15,000 shots were logged on the machines with no down time. Between the two machines, guests played 160 hours of uninterrupted service.
