American Express and the PGA of America treated golf fans to a one-of-a-kind tournament experience when the Ryder Cup made its return to the United States for the first time in four years. On September 16th thru the 21st at Valhalla Golf Club (Louisville, KY), spectators got in on the action at the PGA Learning Center presented by American Express, a mobile version of the PGA Learning Center in Port St. Lucie, Florida – one of the largest and most advanced practice facilities in the world.Golf enthusiasts at the Ryder Cup had the opportunity to pick up a club and improve their personal golf game while watching the competition and cheering on their favorite team. The Full Swing Golf Simulator saw thousands of contestants practice their swing on a virtual edition of Valhalla’s eighth hole in a customized closest to the hole contest, where each day a winner was awarded a special edition Ryder Cup commemorative putter. The PGA Learning Center presented by American Express was open daily from 7:30 am to 7 pm.
